Assisting – Practical Lighting @ Langara with Christopher Morris

Alright,

Langara Continuing Studies Photography Program needed a substitute assistant last minute so I jumped at the opportunity to work with another instructor. This was a studio session with the “Practical Lighting” course taught by Christopher Morris. This class was spent doing location portraits, focusing on using the environment as a background and lighting that was balanced correctly for the environment (in our case fluorescent). The students came up with some fun ideas for portraits then executed all across the campus.

Don’t worry, the classroom didn’t look like this after we were finished.
