I was walking along the Granville bridge and saw this scene below:

Initially, not a big deal. Cement trucks and the like doing their job. What sparked my interest was the frames they were pouring the excess concrete from jobs into forms to create blocks.

Brilliant.

I always assumed they just made a batch of concrete specifically to make blocks. Instead, they’re taking what would be waste material from existing jobs and making something useable, practical….and sellable.

What are you doing with the excess from your business ?
