Creative – “One Foggy Night” Series 1/7

Alright,

After reviewing a lot of my recent work I find I have a tendency to direct the viewers focus with depth of field like in this shot here. Now that’s good and all but I really wanted to experiment with available light as a way to focus the viewer’s attention.

This wonderful fog came in through Vancouver the other night and I spent the wee hours walking the seawall shooting what I liked/didn’t like/could like etc. I set my camera to 1/30th @ f/2.8 ISO 1600 and left it there, the whole night (give or take a shot that I REALLY wanted) it felt like hands in the paper-mache-goop-photography.

As well I’ve been wanting to do a series on this blog so for the next little bit I’m going to show the the work that was produced on “One Foggy Night”:
