Creative – Patch Planters

Alright,

I recently had the urge to grow something, no idea why… maybe my subconscious Vancouver Greenest City Goal duty….who knows? ANYHOW, I of course went to ye olde Google to see what I could dig up (wait for it… that will become hilarious shortly…) and I came across Patch Planters. They’re a local company that makes indoor planters and just launched a Kickstarter Campaign. So I emailed the company and picked a planter up from their Gastown office, bought some plants, and proceeded to document putting the whole kit and kaboodle together…

Make sure to fill the wicking hole with dirt so the water can get up to your plants!

BOOM, you know have your own indoor organic herb garden.

I was pretty dam pleased with the result and will shortly have my own home made pesto. Win, win.
