Alright,
Can’t be in New York and not go and see a Yankee’s game, right? Especially when they’re playing the Baltimore Orioles (my first glove I ever owned was signed by Cal Ripken Jr.). Enough of my jibber jabber, onto the images!
It was a beautiful night for a game…
Huge atrium as soon as you walk into the Stadium.
This was the first point I was able to get out over the bleachers and see the whole stadium, you definitely have a “Woah” moment when the stadium finally opens up.
Beautiful sky backdrop while they finish preparations on the field.
This was the view from my seat, I can’t imagine there’s a bad seat in this whole joint.
That being said I only lasted about 3 innings in my seat until I started wandering the Stadium.
For those of you that don’t follow Baseball this will be Derek Jeter’s final season with the Yankee’s, so EVERY time he got up to bat everyone stood up and went nuts.
Wandering through the top deck.
These are the guys that make the game look so good, they’re positioned on the 2nd floor back in centre field.
This is what they see, give or take about 600mm of zoom…
Section 203, if you want to heckle, this is where you want to be along with all the other “Bleacher Creatures“.
Another camera position, from what I could tell he had a 500/600mm up here in right field.
The highest up in the stadium you can be…AKA two rows behind me 😛
Exiting the stadium with all the pinstripes.
Another view of the entrance atrium.
Crowds upon crowds.
161st Station with Yankee Stadium peeking in from behind.
Probably the most “New York Subway” experience I had riding back with Hammered-ericans. Plenty of Overheard in New York material though!
