Personal – New York City Day 14

Alright,

Today I went downtown to wander through the other half of Central Park (couldn’t make it through all in one day). What I didn’t know about Central Park is it took 20 years and 20,000 workers to get it to where it is today, it used to be a dump/swamp and is now home to 48 Million visitors/year.

First stop was the Conservatory Water Pool on the east side of the park. Look Mom, I got you the picture of Alice you wanted!

They rented remote controlled boats out, perhaps I’ll be going back on a windier day and school some 6 year olds. Yup, I’m an adult.

Sat here for a while and pondered life, the universe, and everything.

This is “The Mall” it’s the only straight line in Central Park and has been used in countless movies as well.
