Alright,
Winter break so now I can push these last couple posts out before the New Year! Final day in New York I wanted to check out the Transit Museum.
One of the neat things is that it’s in an old un-used train station below ground.
They even have all the old turnstiles as they came up with new and better technology.
Hidden away on the bottom floor they have a track of each versions of the train cars since the start of the lines. Each one was refurbished and really interesting to be able to walk through.
They even have all the old school ads!
It was really interesting to see the history of something I used 2-6 times a day on my trip. MTA, I’ll miss you!
